I’m sitting here with my Bible going through Genesis 1:26 where God created man in His own image and in His own likeness. God said, let Us, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit create man in Our own image and after our likeness.
We were created to look like the God-Head, to look like God the Father, Jesus the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit. This is really just taking off in my spirit because He said let Us make man, humanity in our image after our likeness.
Then I went to Psalms 5:3 In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare a prayer, a sacrifice for You and watch and wait for You to speak to my heart.
I then moved over to the Book of Ephesians. The book of Ephesians is not just about God, or Jesus, it is also the Holy Spirit. The Godhead is in action throughout Ephesians portraying the love of God, the blood of Jesus, and the power of the Holy, Spirit which are All working together in us, to make us, and to bring us to the place that we were created to be, so that we can do the good works that we were created to do.
Then I was thinking and praying for the body of Christ when all of a sudden it dawned on me, this was a revelation that God did not make outsiders. He created humanity, the whole of mankind to fellowship with Him, to commune with Him, to participate with, and to be partakers with Him. He never made mankind to be outsiders.
As I said, this was a revelation to me, although I’ve known it, suddenly this morning it was as if a veil was removed from my mind and eyes and God actually spoke to me and said; “I did not make outsiders”.
We were all created to fellowship with the Father, with the Son, and with the Holy Spirit. We were never created to be outside of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, or His will for us, and our lives.
This is absolutely life-changing for me because I remember the Scripture in John 10:16 where Jesus said, I have other sheep that are not of this fold and I must and impel them to come in.
God did not make outsiders!
Today is a new day and it’s a day of opportunity, it’s a day of grace, it’s a day whereby the veil can be removed from people’s eyes and minds, and they can see who God created them to be for His glory and purpose.
Now I share this with you because it was such a fresh revelation to me this morning and it’s actually served as fuel to my prayer-life for the whole, the entirety of the body of Christ. Those who are in, and those who are yet to come in.
May we desperately pray that God would open the eyes of our heart that we may see as He sees, and therefore we will pray in accordance with His will and purpose for humanity. OK
